Associate Scientist - Translational Biology
* Identify drug resistant mutations using a variety of mutagenesis strategies
Generate, validate and implement target-related screening assays
* Independently plan experiments, analyze data and troubleshoot
* Analyze, interpret and present data in the appropriate format
* Actively liaise with other departments (i.e. pharmacology) to drive translational biology projects
* Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines governing commercial and scientific interactions with healthcare professionals, payers, advocacy and other business partners.
* Minimum 3 years of high quality lab experience
* B.S. life sciences degree or equivalent
* Direct experience in tissue culture, sh/siRNA, western blotting, stable cell line generation, proliferation/ signaling assays, PCR, vector construction and ELISAs
* Experience in cell automation, microarrays, qPCR or next generation sequencing would be advantageous
* Ability to independently analyze, interpret and troubleshoot experiments
* Knowledge of the key signaling pathways implicated in oncology is preferred
* A high level of self-motivation and independence combined with a strong desire to deliver high quality data
* Strong written and oral communication skills
• The ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and in a fast-paced environment
* Strong commitment to business ethics
* Understanding of, and experience with, regulatory framework applicable to interactions with HCPs, payers, advocacy and other business partners.
