Research Associate Duties and Responsibilities:

* Perform antibiotic susceptibility assays, mechanism of action, and resistance studies. * Design and execute molecular biology projects, including cloning and site directed mutagenesis. * Perform data analysis and interpretation as well as troubleshooting. * Present results to team.

Required Skills:

* Education: BS with 1-2 years or MS with 0-1 year of relevant laboratory experience in microbiology or molecular biology is required.

Required Experience:

* Laboratory experience in microbiology, including handling bacterial cultures is required. * Knowledge of molecular biology and/or biochemistry is not required but is a plus. * Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical. * The candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills. * The candidate must communicate and work well in a team environment.
