Research Assistant - Cell Biology

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

· Seeking a BS in a life science or biotechnology with 2 years of cell culture work experience in academia and/or the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry OR a MS degree with lab courses in cell biology, biotechnology or related courses, and additional lab experience through an internship, coursework, thesis project, etc. Experience must include demonstrated knowledge and skill in basic cell culture techniques, establishing primary cultures and experience performing cell-based assays. The candidate will be expected to analyze and interpret results of cell proliferation assays as well as other cell-type specific assays.

· Experience with fine dissection

· Experience isolating primary cell cultures

· Understanding of skin and/or hair biology is a plus.
