R&D Engineer/Scientist, Senior
Primary Responsibilities:
? Develop new and differentiated products to meet customer requirements. Build
up intellectual property around new products and ideas.
? Independently conduct projects and coordinate the cross-functional resources
throughout the product development cycle to meet new product lunch schedule.
? Identify the analytical requirements for material and process
characterization, develop the metrology techniques and methodology/protocol
accordingly.
? Provide technical guidance to marketing, sales, product engineering. Generate
technical reports for customers and cross-functional team leaders.
? Think, act, coordinate, and communicate across all organizations
? Maintain safe working environment.
? Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as determined necessary by
management.
Education/Experience:
? Bachelor?s, Master?s or PhD degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
? A proven track record of success in new product development .
? Strong knowledge and hands on experience in chemical and surface analysis,
material characterization and defect inspection.
? Familiar with statistical analysis and tools, such as DOE, MSA, SPC.
? New product development experience in electronic chemical industry.
? Strong background in organic or inorganic synthetic chemistry.
? Familiar with chemical, surface analysis and material characterization. Defect
inspection and thin film metrology is plus.
? Fundamental understanding of liquid/solid interactions and how they relate to
cleaning applications is preferred.
? Direct working experience in new product development and proven track of
record of successful new product lunch.
? Strong project management skills, ability to work independently, and foster
teamwork.
? Strong communication skills and ability to speak English and Mandarin
fluently.
? Familiar with statistical analysis and combinatory chemistry is a strong plus.
? Strong knowledge of semiconductor processes.
