Scientist I in biotech

* A minimum of of PhD * A minimum of 1 years post doctoral research experience. * A minimum of 4 years Molecular Biology or Molecular Immunology experience.

Assets:

* Strong knowledge and experience with molecular biology techniques, such as RT-PCR and DNA cloning, protein expression in E.Coli, insect, and mammalian system. * Demonstrated experiences with development of stable transfected cell lines and optimization of protein expression in both mammalian and E.coli system. * Proficient with bioinformatics analysis tools and resources. * Preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in peptide and protein immunogen design for generation of high quality monoclonal antibodies. * Familiarity with molecular biology software, such as VNTI, and Sequencer. * Experience with protein purification and protein refolding are highly desired. * Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation abilities are expected. * Effective oral and written communication skills. * Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment as well as work independently. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and be flexible to changes. * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Experience navigating complex database systems is expected
