RESEARCH ASSOCIATE IN BIOTECH

The Research Associate supports the analysts by conducting primary and secondary research, including literature and database searches, physician identification and interviews. After training, the Research Associate will be expected to takes responsibility for writing the first draft of some chapters.

You will be expected to:

Search databases and literature:

* Conduct pricing analysis: access data to calculate the pricing trends of therapies across the G7 (United States, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom. Japan). * Top Down Sales Analysis: identify and compile the sales data for drugs in the specific disease area. Validate the data with published information and populate forecasting spreadsheet for use by the analyst. * Patent expiry research: analyze patent literature to identify drugs' patent expiration in each of the G7. * Assemble emerging therapy lists using databases such as IDdb. * Pull data on sales and promotion trends for specific drugs and companies to determine market dynamics.

Write:

* Assist in the preparation of draft chapters such as Current Therapies, Medical Practice, and Etiology and Pathophysiology. The analyst is responsible for the content and the deeper analysis.

Interview:

* Assist the analyst in drafting a study guide for the interviews with physicians and key thought leaders. * May interview some experts or physicians.

Requirements:

* University degree in a scientific or healthcare-related discipline. * Strong excel and database manipulation skills * Ability to synthesize material and write clearly and concisely * Strong attention to detail * Good collaboration/teamwork
