Senior Scientist, Cellular and Tissue Analysis

We are currently looking for a Senior Applications Scientist to work with our customers, undertaking cell- and tissue-based research analyses and studies, with the goal of expanding the range of applications for instrumentation. This is an excellent opportunity to interact with key scientists from the world’s leading research institutions and pharmaceutical companies, taking responsibility for the Company's scientific activities, including:

Undertaking cell- and tissue-based research analyses and studies to expand the range of applications for instrumentation, and preparing publications and presentations of the results *

Performing feasibility studies for potential customers and providing them with reports based on data generated from the studies *

Developing protocols and performing contract studies, particularly relating to pharmacodynamic marker evaluation in biomarker discovery programs and pre-clinical trials

To be successful in this position, you will be a self-starter and have:

An advanced degree in the biological sciences with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in flow cytometry, cellular imaging, or a related biomedical field *

A deep knowledge of appropriate scientific methods and techniques. Laboratory experience in one or more of the following is preferred: cellular and molecular biology, cellular immunology, high-content cellular and tissue analysis, cell surface and intracellular fluorescence labeling, FISH analysis *

A portfolio of peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations *

Demonstrated ability to use and maintain complex optical and mechanical research instrumentation *

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, both oral and written, appropriate for a leadership position
