Facilities Handyman in biotech

Responsible for performing all facilities related issues including but not limited to building maintenance, drywall repair, painting, janitorial and general courier driving. In addition may monitor and coordinate service needs with appropriate internal and external providers relative to general machinery and equipment maintenance and repair, maintenance of facilities systems (HVAC, emergency power, electrical system and security), glassware and renovation projects.

Requirements: A minimum of 5 years experience in Facilities maintenance. Experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry preferred, including a clean room environment. Must be able to read and understand equipment and system directions and drawings. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, communicating with management located off-site as needed. Must be very team oriented and have a sense of urgency responding to customer needs. Must work effectively with outside vendors.
