Scientist - Cell Line Development
Description:
The successful candidate will join a development team focused on generating manufacturing CHO cell lines and developing up-stream cell culture process to be used in the production of monoclonal antibody products.
# Primary Responsibilities Optimize serum-free DNA transfection
# Optimize clone selection process along with cell culture medium to be used to generate recombinant CHO cell lines
# Optimize a fed-batch cell culture process for newly developed antibody producing recombinant CHO cell lines
# Produce monoclonal antibodies using small scale bioreactors and/or spinner flasks to support internal research and pre-clinical studies
Job Requirements:
Extensive experiences in cell culture and cell line development are required. Candidates for the position should possess a Ph.D. degree with minimum 3 years of experience or a Bachelor or Master degree with minimum 15 years of industry experience. Candidates with a strong record of generating recombinant CHO cell lines and/or up-stream cell culture process development used for production of clinical material are highly desirable. He or she must have ability to think independently in solving problems. Effective communication and strong written and verbal skills are required.
