Scientist II in biotech



Position Summary:

Perform a broad range of laboratory development work in the selection of specialized methods and techniques. We are looking for a creative, results-oriented and self-motivated individual seeking a challenging and interactive environment.

Responsibilities: - Work independently on hemostasis test method development projects. - Must be able to troubleshoot reagent, software, and hardware system issues in support of our customer base.

Minimum Requirements: - Scientist with deductive, analytical, statistical and mechanical skills to support medical device R&D assay application development. - Experience in medical device industry and/or coagulation or chemistry clinical laboratory medicine highly desirable. - MS degree, plus up to two years of relevant experience or BS degree, plus 3-5 years relevant experience. - Must have good computer skills, be familiar with Microsoft Office, and be willing to learn special software to operate laboratory analyzers.
