Associate Scientist in biotech

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: # Support Scientist(s) in the development of crystalline protein suspension formulation. # Implement appropriate analytical methods to monitor protein purity, stability and activity. # Participate in the development of appropriate container closure system for liquid formulation. # Perform analytical assays and analyze, interpret and communicate experimental data to project teams in the form of oral presentations and written technical reports.

Qualifications: # Hands-on experience in a broad range of protein analytical techniques including HPLC, spectroscopy (UV, fluorescence, CD, light scattering), gel electrophoresis, DSC, etc. # Experience in liquid protein formulation development. # Experience in general laboratory technique: solution composition calculations, buffer preparation; pH meter, balance, centrifuge, biosafety cabinet operation. # Ability to work both in team, under supervision and independently in a dynamic environment is essential. # Knowledge and ability to adhere to Good Laboratory Practices # Good self-organization. # Knowledge and understanding of protein chemistry # Experience in container closure system development for liquid formulations.

Education: # B.S. in Pharmaceutics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience # M.S. in Pharmaceutics, Biochemistry, chemistry, or a related discipline with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
