Biologics Project Manager
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
* Plan, cost price and deliver multi-million pound commercial projects within a matrix organisation.
* Support sales in winning and securing business.
* Negotiate agreements and further amendments to ensure both compliance with the contract and profitable delivery.
* Uphold customer interests within us.
* Make commercial decisions that benefit company and the Customer.
* Lead, motivate and manage multi-disciplinary project teams in a matrix management environment to deliver to deadlines for rapidly evolving projects.
* Interact with company personnel at all levels of the organisation and often at company sites overseas.
* Be involved in strategic decision making
* Develop an understanding of the commercial business environment of the contract manufacturing market in which company and our customers operate.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals with a BSc, or equivalent, and ideally a higher degree in a relevant scientific discipline. You will need some experience of project management or process development ideally gained in a contract management organisation or within a biologics or pharmaceutical company.
We would also welcome applications from project managers with a scientific background who are currently working in other industries.
