Sr Associate Scientist

Job Description The candidate will be responsible for development and implementation of Bioanalytical assays in the Clinical Science and technology department to support preclinical and clinical studies for oncology programs. Responsibilities will include experimental design/analysis and interpretation of cell and serum based assays to detect functional responses against oncology biologics. The candidate will responsible for developing and qualifying assays as per industry standards. May supervise technicians involved in development of such assays. Candidate will be required to present data in a variety of team settings and prepare technical documents including SOPs, development reports and validation reports when required. Candidate may be required to work with contract research organizations (CRO) and contract labs to transfer/validate assays and review data periodically from CROs. The candidate should be capable of effective multitasking. Qualifications Candidate should have experience in flow cytometry, multiplex assays in developing other cell based assays. Candidate must have excellent written and communication skills. Experience with other immune function assays and with kinase signal transduction assays a plus. Industry experience, development of Pharmacokinetic assays and immunogenicity molecular biology experience a plus. Education The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in cell biology with 10 years, or MS in biology with 8 years relevant experience in an industry environment.
