Scientist II/Senior Scientist

Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will join, lead and execute a major portion of a research effort focused on the engineering of therapeutic antibodies. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the antibody engineering field as the position will be involved in the development of novel antibody technologies. The successful candidate will be independent, creative and have an established record of research accomplishments in the various molecular and structural aspects of protein design. Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills are essential. The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and organize workload so as to meet deadlines is an absolute requirement.

Job Requirements Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Immunology with over 5 yr.’s of relevant work experience. Industry experience will be preferred. The ideal candidate will have proven technical proficiency in most of the following areas: molecular biology (in particular site-directed mutagenesis/cloning/PCR, protein libraries design and construction, directed evolution, high throughput screening); assay development; expression of recombinant proteins in bacterial and mammalian cells; protein purification and biophysical characterization.
