Bioinformatics Data Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Bioinformatics Data Analyst with extensive DNA sequence analysis experience to join our Bioinformatics department.

Main responsibilities:

* Analyzing various genome and transcriptome projects using bioinformatics software and the mapping and assembly software developed at 454, in order to design new views and tools for analyzing genome/transcriptome sequencing projects

* Testing early versions of the mapping and assembly software, identifying limitations and bugs in the software

* Supporting our customers, through interactions with key collaborators involved in large or complex projects and through the writing of user-oriented guides to analyzing 454 sequence data.
