  • Neurosciences on the Internet - The table of contents included in this site is huge. If you wish to explore the neurosciences on the Internet in the broadest sense, this is probably the best place to start. The subjects included range from viral infections in the CNS to medical imaging centers. Also included is useful information about how to use the World Wide Web and searching tips; all the information is clearly presented, with newly added sites listed separately.
  • David Baldwin's Trauma Info Pages - The Trauma Information Pages focus primarily on emotional trauma and traumatic stress, including PTSD (Post-traumatic Stress Disorder), whether following individual traumatic experience(s) or a large-scale disaster. New information is added to this site about once a month. The purpose of this site is to provide information about traumatic stress for clinicians and researchers in the field.
  • Psyche - Psyche is a refereed electronic journal available in both electronic and print formats, dedicated to supporting the interdiciplinary exploration of the nature of consciousness. The journal publishes material relevant to that exploration from the perspectives afforded by the disciplines of cognitive science, psychology, philosophy, physics, neuroscience, artificial intelligence and anthropology. Interdisciplinary discussions are particularly encouraged. A hardcopy version, distributed by The MIT Press, is simultaneously published with the electronic version.
  • Dr. Bob's Psychopharmacology Tips - An excellent, interesting site of advice and tips about prescribing a wide range of psychiatric medications. The tips are searchable, and are mainly generated from discussions on a psycho-pharm mailing list.
  • Internet Mental Health - This is an encyclopedic resource from the Vancouver Mental Health Support Group. The site serves both professional and lay populations. Intended as a worldwide resource, it provides descriptions of evaluation and treatment modes from different countries.
  • APA (American Psychiatric Association) Online - This site includes a wide range of information such as links to other organizations, schedule of events, current news, clinical and research resources and public information.
  • American Psychological Association PsychNET - This site is extensive and useful for both the general public and psychologists. It includes introductory materials, science information and practice information. The site is well-organized and can be searched by keywords.
  • The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) - The site is full of information. The site includes "Facts for Families", "Research Report Card", "Government Affairs", and information on annual meetings. Their publication catalog is also available.
  • Computers in Mental Health: Software Information - Offers a database of reviews of software programs of use to mental health professionals, software ordering information, and links to software sites. This page also features online mental health brochures and a collection of mental health computing articles.
