Microbiologist
Perform endotoxin, bioburden and sterility testing for raw materials, in-process samples, bulk and finished products according to USP and SOP
Maintain accurate logbooks and complete documentation as required
Verify work results of other technicians as assist in training as required
Maintain database for environmental results of clean room environment and summarize data for annual report
Write and/or approve validation protocols, perform validation activities and write reports
Develop and validate new or improved microbiological methods
Participate in project teams and perform other duties as assigned
Bachelors degree in microbiology, biology or related science
2-4 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry with microbiological testing
Experience with cGMP laboratory operations and FDA regulations
Experience in environmental monitoring of clean rooms and aseptic media fill evaluation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines for testing and reporting
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
