Senior Scientist Chemical Biologist
Responsibilities
Statistical analysis and model building for the analysis of chemical biology datasets
Delivery of mechanism of action hypothesis using chemical, biological and omics datasets and phenotypic screening information.
Analysis of proteomics data
Large scale mining of chemical databases using high dimensional data to prioritize target hypotheses
Data analysis and experimental design to develop molecular mode of action hypotheses
Qualifications
Ph.D. in chemical biology, cheminformatics, biology, applied math, biophysics or a related discipline
Excellent track record of external publications and professional service
1-5 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities
Expertise in chemical biology data types of MoA determination
Deep understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and elimination of bias
Knowledge of chemical structures, cheminformatics, and chemical descriptors
Experience with Omics data types (transcriptomics, metabolomics, proteomics)
Fluency in one or more programming languages in the Unix environment, SQL and R
