Associate - Public Health
Job Summary
This position entails managing and serving as lead consultant for quantitative analyses on issues of environmental and public health risk assessment.
The candidate will have full project management responsibility, including management of client relations, intellectual direction of projects, management of project budgets, overseeing, and being responsible for the quality of, work by multidisciplinary project teams, and preparation of reports, briefings, and other project deliverables.
The candidate will have extensive contact with clients, including project presentations and briefings. The candidate will be responsible for business development, including identifying new clients and markets, writing proposals, and winning and directing performance of new work.
The candidate will be expected to establish and maintain an industry presence as a subject-matter expert by publishing in peer reviewed journals and/or presenting at annual conferences and meetings.
Skills Prerequisites
Academic degrees will be in public health, toxicology, risk assessment, or related discipline desired
Experience is required in the analysis of environmental health policy issues.
Academic work and demonstrated expertise are required in several of the following areas: toxicology, risk assessment, quantitative methods, biology, physical and/or environmental sciences.
Excellent oral communication, writing, and analytical skills are essential.
The successful candidate will also have experience in project structuring and management, and budget planning and tracking. Experience with sophisticated environmental modeling and statistical analysis is also required.
Experience with federal environmental policy and regulatory programs –and development and implementation of environmental regulations is highly desirable.
Minimum Qualifications
MA/MS 7-10 years' of experience or PhD4-6 Years' of experience
