Research Associate/Scientist, Cell Culture
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and scale up cultures for hESC and iPS cell lines and their differentiation toward retinal cells.
Collaborate with colleagues for optimization of the laboratory processes for increased efficiency.
Preparation of cells to meet the demands of multiple projects that will require flexible hours.
Perform cell based assays and FACS analysis.
Data analysis and documentation.
Accurate and reliable record keeping.
Other procedures and techniques as required.
Requirements:
B.S./M.S. degree in biology or related fields.
At least 1+ years bench work experience in cell culture.
Punctual, reliable, efficient with attention to detail.
Strong work ethic.
