Senior Scientist - CoE Analytical
Primary Role Responsibilities:
Provide multidimensional analytical support to research activities and product development using expertise in material analysis and characterization.
Support new product development with advanced method development and validation.
Lead or support project work and problem solving as a part of cross-functional project team.
Lead and conduct GLP studies for material qualification and new product registration. Assist with writing protocols and procedures and other controlled documents. Interpret and report data with adherence to documentation guidelines.
Collects, summarized, analyzes data to prepare report, make presentations, as appropriate, to disseminate best practice throughout the function.
Mentor junior scientists and technical staff. Responsible for compliance with safety standards and maintains the lab with high housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry or related analytical science field with at least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in chemical industry
MS degree in Chemistry or equivalent education with at least 8 – 10 years of relevant industry experience
Demonstrated experiences in developing, validating and documenting analytical methods and testing procedures for a broad range of chemicals, formulations, and delivery forms
Strong expertise in wet chemistry, elemental analysis, electroanalytical techniques, and spectroscopy with solid hands-on knowledge of ICP-OES, AA, titration, FTIR, IC, and UV-VIS
Demonstrated experiences in analytical testing for a broad range of chemicals, formulations, and delivery forms
Proven scientific and technical skills in analytical troubleshooting and problem solving
Experience in a GLP laboratory environment
Excellent organization, data analysis, technical writing, and communication skills
Proven teamwork and collaboration skills
