Principal Scientist
Devise, articulate, and implement strategies for improvement of ADME, PK and PD properties for candidate molecules
• Plan, design, and/or conduct PK/ADME studies; analyze, interpret, integrate and communicate study results
• Work with disease and biology experts to help design appropriate PD studies to evaluate program biology, efficacy and/or PD models, and to establish PKPD relationships
• Articulate risks and mitigation strategies to address potential drug-drug interactions, human PK predictions, and clinical dose projections
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree & 3 years of scientific experience OR Master’s degree & 7 years of scientific experience OR Bachelor’s degree & 9 years of scientific experience
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in pharmaceutical, chemical, or biological science (or BA/MS with equivalent experience) and 2+ years of drug discovery and/or development experience AND strong demonstrated skills appropriate to application of drug transporter technologies in the biopharmaceutical industry. These skills include critical thinking, knowledge/expertise of PK/ADME and demonstrated ability to translate those principles to team members across broad disciplines. Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
