Scientist - Immunology Discovery
The Position
Seeking an outstanding scientist to lead a research group to study adaptive and innate contributions to human disease and identify novel targets for preclinical and clinical validation. Areas of particular interest include autoimmunity and inflammation, microbiomics and fibrosis. This position offers the opportunity to lead a research lab that discovers new therapeutics, and maintain an independent research program.
You will interact closely with clinical development groups and other scientists in the areas of biomarkers, human genetics and other target discovery departments, including Cancer Immunology, Neuroscience and Metabolism. You will direct drug discovery programs and early preclinical target identification and have the opportunity to collaborate with clinical scientists through human clinical trial validation.
As a strong candidate, you will have:
PhD and/or MD with postdoctoral research experience in immunology
Record of cutting edge research in one or more of the specific areas listed above
Documented scientific accomplishment as evidenced by publications in top-tier journals
