Scientist in Life Sciences
The Scientist is very proficient in a variety of wet chemistry techniques using various equipment/instrumentation, validates assay methods, assists Project/Study Managers with verifying, approving and finalizing data and works under GLP guidelines.
1 Performs general laboratory tasks using HPLC, UV and AA techniques. 2. Able to validate unique and challenging assay methods with no supervision while maintaining a high rate of success. 3. Writes formulation chemistry methods/procedures, analytical/validation plans and reports as needed. 4. Trains and supervises Analysts/Senior Analysts in routine wet chemistry techniques and HPLC, UV and AA equipment and instrumentation. 5. Reviews, verifies and approves paperwork in accordance with applicable SOPs and GLP guidelines. 6. Performs quality checks of all generated raw data prior to QA submission and addresses QA audits. 7. Processes analytical data using integration software, scientifically evaluates the data and reports analytical data to the Study Director or other study related personnel. 8. Able to set up, develop or transfer methods with minimal supervision.
A master’s degree in a science related field plus a minimum of two years of directly related experience. A bachelor’s degree in a science related field plus a minimum of three years of directly related experience.
