RESEARCH SCIENTIST - MEDICINAL
Education/Experience:
Requires a PhD degree in Chemistry with at least a 3.0 GPA. Must have 5 years of Medicinal Chemistry (drug discovery) experience and 1 year of Process Chemistry (drug development) experience. Organic synthesis focus in graduate work is required. Requires an organic chemist with expertise and proven track record of performance in drug discovery (medicinal chemistry) and drug development (process chemistry), preferably in an industrial setting. Experience in working with cross functional teams in these areas, either managerially or as a team member, is highly desirable for this position; must have MS Office skills including Project Database searching experience in REAXYS, SciFInder, PubMed etc. experience; must have chemical structure drawing programs experience with ChemDraw, and Chem Sketch; must have technical writing experience with reports, proposals and regulatory documents. This is not an analytical chemistry position. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
