Chemical Filling Group Leader
Chemical Filling, Group Leader - 2nd Shift
The Chemical Filling Team leader will perform filling, sealing, and labeling of various reagents by means of written and/or verbal instruction. This person will oversee daily activity within the Fill area to assure all quality and production goals are met. Essential Responsibilities include: setting up and monitoring of fill equipment during operation; verifying correct equipment set-up per specifications prior to filling; loading/unloading product; assuring product is properly sealed, labeled, and quarantined as required. The Team Leader will communicate regularly with Group Lead/Supervisor to determine daily schedule and priorities and will be responsible for training and guidance of junior Operators on new and existing processes.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Solid mechanical aptitude with ability to utilize hand tools and gauges to operate bottle/pouch fillers, cappers, induction sealers, inkjets, labelers, and other related equipment. Must have thorough knowledge of Quality System Regulations (QSR), thorough knowledge of Safety Standards, and at least 3-5 years’ experience as a machine operator. Ability to operate electric and manual pallet trucks..
