Scientific Curator, Pharmacogenomics
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify pharmacogenomic studies that meet BIOBASE’s curation criteria
Read and extract pharmacogenomic associations from scientific publications
Recognize crucial new data that do not conform to current standards and propose ways to incorporate them
Perform QC of curations as necessary to ensure the highest quality of data
REQUIREMENTS
MS or PhD in the molecular life sciences with an emphasis on genetics
Independent lab-based research experience with supporting publications is preferred
Proficiency with the following databases, tools and ontologies is a plus: PubMed, dbSNP, PharmGKB, HGMD, UCSC BLAT, GO, MeSH
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
