Sr. Research Scientist EDD
•Develops or participates in developing research topics, proposals, budgets, and research design. •Selects appropriate statistical techniques to analyze data from large scale national data sets. •Supervises more junior staff in the collection relevant literature for literature reviews. •May design survey or other data collection instruments and oversee analyses and research syntheses by research analysts and research assistants. •Selects appropriate research designs to answer research questions and/or evaluate programs. •Performs or manages data analyses;
Qualifications: •Ph.D. in education, economics, psychology, political science, public policy, sociology, or another social science plus experience needed. A Master’s or other relevant degree may be considered with at least five years of relevant experience. . •Knowledge of and experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Experience with outcomes evaluations and analyses of large national or international datasets preferred. •Experienced in primary data collection and data management.
