Scientist in Biotech
Experiment planning, execution, and troubleshooting
Coordinate and conduct experiments, analyze and critically review resulting data
Suggest direction for future work
Coordinate procurement of reagents and equipment
Understand, follow and enforce laboratory safety precautions to ensure compliance with company safety policies
May work with Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) materials such as viruses, bacteria and/or human clinical matrices (e.g. serum and plasma)
Prepare and track project schedules
Prepare project documentation including summary reports
Troubleshoot product development and optimization work; communicate issues and solutions to managers and senior staff
Review data, reports, procedures and other documents related to product development
Present results to colleagues and senior staff
Research new methods and train laboratory personnel
Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Engineering or related field
Minimum of five years’ experience in a research, clincial or related environment
M.S. may be considered with a minimum eight years of relevant experience and proven management and hands-on technical abilities
