Staff Scientist in Biotech

Designs and executes experiments to create and evaluate new methods required for development of new reagent systems. Provides technical leadership to project teams. Maintains substantial knowledge of Leukemia, Lymphoma, and cancer biology with working knowledge of flow cytometry. Represents the organization as the main technical contact for with-in business contracts and projects. Acts as a technical consultant on cross-functional projects or programs. Prepares and may oversee the preparation of technical reports, summaries, protocols, and technical reviews. Guides the successful completion of major programs. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions may cause serious delays in program schedule. Provides training and mentoring to junior staff. Participates in functional and cross-functional training to advance technical capabilities. Participates in training on regulatory issues affecting reagent development. Brings regulatory compliance questions/issues to the attention of management. Promotes a safe work environment. Offers recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment.

Minimum Bachelorís degree Minimum 8 years of experience working in biotech or a related industry.
