Scientist, Biology( . Looking for a highly motivated research scientist with a proven track record in multiple therapeutics including but not limited to retinal diseases, glaucoma and inflammation. Expertise in biologics/peptide development and a strong publication record is highly desirable. The candidate will be responsible for proposing, validating and initiating novel targets and projects into the ophthalmology pipeline. The candidate will also be expected to participate in designing and conducting in vitro and in vivo pharmacological studies. Must be able to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross functional teams.

Qualifications

* Ph.D. in molecular biology or life science or DVM with strong ophthalmic track record * Minimum 3 years of post-doctoral experience in life-science. Industry experience is a plus. * Extensive experience in molecular biology, cell and biochemical assay development and analysis * Expertise in cutting edge retinal imaging technology including but not limited to OCT, adaptive optics, etc is highly desirable but not required. * Self-driven and creative personality * Excellent written and oral communication skills
