Production Chemist (Chemist / Biochemistry)
· Maintaining culture of various cell lines
· Providing cell culture in various forms
· Purifying antigens from cell culture supernatant and any other protein as required
· Making media and buffers as required
· Performing laboratory support activities such as maintaining equipment and ordering lab supplies
· Maintaining an inventory of materials necessary for cell culture and antigen purification from cell lines
· Updating lab regularly and cell lines performance to manager
· Reviewing and updating procedures
Production Chemist (Chemist / Biochemistry)
· Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biological/Life sciences, or equivalent discipline; minimum BS degree in Biological Science or related discipline with 3-5 years’ experience in cell culture and protein purification
· 3 to 7 years’ experience in a laboratory setting
· Experience in general laboratory techniques (reagent preparation and measurement)
· Experience in cell culture techniques, a plus
· Ability to follow procedure and conduct documents following GMP/GLP
· Willingness to work with human blood and blood products
· Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, interacting with individuals from other groups
· Must have multi-tasking, organizational and good interpersonal skills; and be team-oriented
