Lab/Research Technician in Biotech
Ideal candidate would have 1-2 years experience in molecular and cellular biology. The successful candidate will independently perform experiments and assist in the analysis of data. He/she must be comfortable performing experiments and dissections on laboratory animals, specifically mice. Ideal candidate must be interested in staying with the lab for a minimum of two years.
Education Requirements:
o Bachelors degree in a biological science or chemistry
Experience and other Requirements:
o College-level laboratory experience (biology and chemistry)
o Aseptic technique for cell culture
o Experience with rodents
o Must be motivated, neat, organized, and efficient
Primary Responsibilities:
o Independently carry out basic molecular and cellular biology experiments.
o Assist with the ordering and tracking of laboratory supplies.
