Associate Scientist in Biotech
The Associate Scientist works on a team that develops diagnostic medical laboratory test products. Specific duties include the optimization, preparation and qualification of analytical reagents; development of immunological based test procedures and statistical analysis of test results. Essential responsibilities also include performing immunoassays with human and animal based samples, analyzing and interpreting experimental data, results, and methods, as well as assisting in the day to day operations of the lab.
Requirements: BA/BS in Biology or Chemistry with 0 – 3 years of experience in area(s) of biochemistry, clinical chemistry, hematology or immunology; knowledge and understanding of biochemical reagent formulation, scientific documentation, MS Word and Excel or other statistical analytical programs.
