Research Asssociate in Biotech
A minimum of two years work or post bachelor academic experience is required for the Assoc II, Research. Prior experience in a medical device or pharmaceuticals industrial experience is preferred. Engineering background is a plus.
A bachelor’s degree in bioengineering, biochemistry, or mechanical engineering is required. A Master degree in bioengineering, biochemistry, or mechanical engineering is a decided plus and will be considered as a substitute for related work experience.
Must have a proven track record of accomplishing tasks independently, have demonstrated initiative and collaborative skills in prior work and academic experiences. Must have the desire and drive to work in a fast paced team environment. Must be willing to seek out and expand knowledge and expertise as the project demands.
Position is laboratory-focused, performing hands-on research. Must be willing to spend the majority of time in the laboratory and be a self-starter and with a minimum of supervision required. Attention to details, and a passion for precision and accuracy a must.
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and laboratory software experience is a plus. We are looking for a chemist with perseverance, integrity, and ability to work with deadlines, and be meticulous with experimental procedures, data collection and analysis.
Good speaking, writing, and presentation skills along with good team skills a must. Strong problem solving skills, ability to write and execute protocols, write reports, and a “can do” attitude are essential.
