Associate Scientist
#
Investigates the feasibility of applying a wide variety of scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions, products and problems
#
Interprets data and exercises judgment to determine appropriate course of action
#
Maintains broad knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories
#
Interfaces with various departments
#
Other duties as assigned

Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data require a review of identifiable factors
*
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
*
Demonstrates potential for technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought
*
Must be able to use hands and be mobile to get around laboratory, engineering labs, warehouse and dock areas
*
Vision abilities required include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
*
Bachelors in a scientific discipline or equivalent is required, MS preferred
*
Minimum of 0-2 years experience in a research and/or development environment
*
Background in chemistry or biochemistry
