RResearch Associate in Biotech
* Routine clinical sample handling and processing
* Plan and execute validation and verification studies
* Assist in assay development
* Analyze, report and present study data in team meetings
* Examine data and prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analysis and ensure experiments are well documented
* Maintain familiarity with current scientific developments
* B.S. in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry, or closely related field, with minimum of one year of full time laboratory experience. Experience in DNA/RNA extraction for clinical diagnostics applications is a plus
* Knowledge of human nucleic acid extraction, amplification and detection technologies and hands-on experience of at least one of these technologies
* Familiarity with statistical data analysis tools like Excel, JMP or other statistics software is desirable
* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
* Detail oriented and strong troubleshooting capabilities
