Associate Scientist II, Bioanalytical Chem
This position requires an individual to assist biochemical and biophysical characterization of proteins for various research projects using chromatographic, N-terminal sequencing, and mass spectrometric tools. This individual will also assist in development of analytical methods for protein characterization.
Qualifications The candidate should have excellent analytical laboratory and instrumentation skills, be self-motivated and well-organized. Experience in working with low levels of samples and with analytical instrumentation, such as HPLC systems, N-terminal sequencing, and mass spectrometers, is desirable. The candidate must be team player and have solid communication skills.
Education Minimum BA or BS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Analytical Biochemistry, Life Science or related field, with 2-5 years industrial or academic experience in protein characterization, is required.
