Scientist In Biotech
This challenging position will be responsible for performing analytical chemistry testing on pharmaceutical products. Duties may include but are not limited to performing pharmaceutical testing including HPLC, GC, TLC, UV, dissolution and IR spectroscopy, developing and validating analytical test methods for pharmaceutical products, critically evaluating and auditing data, and acting as a scientific resource for the corporation.
Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with 0-2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Development including Solid Dosage forms, Ophthalmics, Aerosols, Creams, Ointments or Injectables. Preferably 2-4 years of experience in related field with a PhD in Chemistry or related field. However, a combination of education and/or experience will be considered. Must possess a strong understanding of analytical chemistry, excellent communication, writing, reading, comprehension, organization and basic computer skills. Must be accurate, detail oriented, and possess the ability to multi-task; knowledge of cGMP is desirable.
