Bioorganic Chemist
Responsibilities will include researching and developing new stable isotope labeled compounds especially in the areas of nucleotides/nucleosides, peptides/proteins/ amino acids, carbohydrates, and lipids/fatty acids; using both biological systems such as algae, yeast, bacteria etc. and chemical synthesis.
Candidates must have at least an M.Sc in Bioorganic Chemistry with 2 years of research experience in algae growing and fermentation. Candidates must demonstrate excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, and have strong background in chemical synthesis, purification and fermentation, as well as HPLC, GC, NMR and MS. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, production equipment, and have knowledge of GMP and ISO guidelines and regulations.
Experience:
