Senior Scientist/Principal Scientist
Responsibilities: The Early Discovery group within the Discovery Oncology Department is seeking a highly motivated scientist to join a team focused on the identification and validation of novel oncology drug targets. The mission of the Early Discovery group is to identify novel candidate oncology targets through a combination of "omic" exploration of tumor cells and functional screening technologies to reveal recurrent molecular and cell biological features that define pharmacologically tractable tumor cell vulnerabilities. Demonstrated strength in scientific analysis and creativity, supported by a strong publication record, is essential.
Requirements: Academic scientists with demonstrated success and interest in molecular and cellular aspects of cancer biology and cancer therapeutics, and industry professionals with a strong record of success are encouraged to apply. Qualified exceptional candidates at all levels will be considered. For the Senior Scientist, a consistent record of scientific accomplishment would be required with 10 or more years of post-graduate experience. For the Principal Scientist, 15 or more years of post-graduate experience and a strong record demonstrating internationally recognized scientific achievement is required. Outstanding oral and written communication skills required.
