Research Assistant/Associate in Biotech
Responsibilities: The Research Assistant/Associate will be responsible for the production, characterization and maintenance of murine research models.
Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a scientific discipline, or an Associate Degree (or equivalent 2 year college education) with 3+ years of relevant experience, or AALAS certification (LAT or LATg) with 5+ years of relevant experience. The candidate must have familiarity with Excel, electronic data capture systems using barcodes, other data-management systems, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work well with others and effectively communicate with research personnel and other corporate groups. Must be capable of standing, lifting, kneeling, bending, etc., for extended periods of time. This position requires great attention to detail, time management and organization skills, as well as accurate record keeping.
