Sr. Biologist in Biotech
Responsible for performing a wide variety of technical and administrative functions for the Quality Biology Laboratory and maintaining GLP/ISO10993 compliance standard in Biology Laboratory
The major job functions includes, maintaining broad knowledge of state of the art principles and biology theories related to biocompatibility testing . Developing technical solutions for routine and non routine problems.
This position involves interfacing with other QA laboratory staff, engineers, project teams, regulatory teams and senior management to develop an understanding of the product, component, or device changes; formalizing the project goals for laboratory review; determining the appropriate testing to ensure regulatory compliance. Must be an effective problem solver who is self directed and able to perform duties with little to no supervision
A minimum of five (5) years experience for Biologist II level and a minimum of eight (8) years experience for Senior Biologist level.
A bachelor's degree in Biology or Biochemistry is required. Advanced related Master's, Ph.D. or a DVM degree is highly desirable. Knowledge of Toxicology principles and applications is also highly desirable
