Research Technician in Biotech
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the development of antibody based products. Primarily a hands-on lab postion which will include assisting in the drafting and implementation of QS documentation and editing/writing standard operating procedures as required and keep the laboratory area in compliance per QS standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
An AS or BS in the biological sciences/biotech or related discipline with some previous laboratory experience working with antibodies including ELISA, western blot, immunoprecipitation and immunoaffinity purification techniques is desireable. Experience with mammalian cell culture and protein chemistry also a plus. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are a must.
The qualified candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be fluent in both written and spoken English. The individual will also possess the ability to think creatively, multi-task, demonstrate initiative and work independently in a small lab GLP environment.
