R&D Associate II/Associate Scientist I
The R&D Associate II/Associate Scientist I will be part of a team to advance biosuperior targets into full drug discovery programs. Additional responsibilities include running in vitro biochemical and cell-based assays for disease areas that may include immunology and oncology. Data acquisition, analysis and interpretations including statistics are expected from the candidate. The candidate must be highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills and are expected to be productive in a team environment with minimal direct supervision.
Preclinical research experience (background with in vitro and/or in vivo studies)
Develops new methods, technologies and processes when necessary for project advancement
Supervision: Able to work independently with minimal day to day supervision to meet project goals and work objectives
Educational Requirements Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in biology/life sciences or related field required.
Experience:
-2-6 years of experience in either an academic or industry research setting, industry experience is preferred but not required.
Experience in antibody/protein therapeutics drug discovery
-Experience in broad therapeutic areas
-Experience with in vitro assays and/or in vivo models
-Aptitude for innovation and creativity, and ability to work with minimal supervision
-High degree of common sense and strong organizational skills
-Strong interpersonal skills to work in a team-oriented environment
