How to Download and Install the latest version of Ketcher in standalone mode?

Ketcher can be installed in 2 modes: Standalone and Remote.

• The Standalone mode incorporates Indigo backend services in the Ketcher build. It allows for Ketcher to work in browser with no server and even without the Internet connection. In this mode the pictures recognition provided by Indigo service is not available.
• The Remote mode requires Indigo server deployed and connected. It will provide all the Ketcher abilities leveraging Indigo.

You can follow this tutorial to download and install the latest version of Ketcher in standalone mode.

1. Go to Ketcher Download Website.

2. Click "Ketcher 2.11.0". You see a list of distribution packages.

3. Click "Ketcher 2.11.0 standalone" to download the standalone package.

4. Save the download file as "ketcher-standalone-v2.11.0.zip".

5. Unzip "ketcher-standalone-v2.11.0.zip". You see that all files are extract into a sub-directory called: "standalone".

6. Open "./standalone/index.html" in a Web browser. You see the Ketcher editor screen.

If you can create a simple chemical reaction on the screen, you know that Ketcher is installed correctly as a standalone tool.
