What are examples of Constitutional Isomers?
✍: FYIcenter.com
The picture below gives an example of Constitutional Isomers:
The molecule on the left is N-Butane, also known as Normal Butane, which is a flammable, colorless, mostly nontoxic gas with a natural gas odor.
The molecule on the right is I-Butane, also known as Isobutane, which is a gaseous branched-chain hydrocarbon (CH3)3CH isomeric of the N-Butane. I-Butan is used especially as a fuel.
